The first interactive public art project was active from August 2013 – August 2016 in Austin, Texas.
XYZ Atlas: Bryan and College Station, Texas, in partnership with the City of Bryan, The City of College Station, the Arts Council of Brazos Valley, and Texas A&M University, launched in Fall 2016 with an exhibition in multiple locations in downtown Bryan in May 2017.
The Downtown Austin Alliance, in partnership with Southwest Airlines and the Project for Public Spaces, commissioned XYZ Atlas: Congress Avenue for March and April 2017 for a Heart of the Community project.
We are interested in taking the XYZ Atlas to other communities, to positively affect community health and well-being, urban planning, and cultural tourism with diverse outreach strategies to reach art lovers and underserved communities of all ages. The project adapts to unique audiences and scales to fit a place.
